Ending HIV Network (EHN)
among overseas-born Victorians

our vision

“A World Where HIV Is Eradicated And Health Equity is Achieved For All.”

our mission

To connect like-minded professionals, advocacy groups, community organisations and members who work in the field of HIV and sexual health in Victoria, with a focus on overseas-born Victorians.

our network

The EHN fosters regular opportunities for members from different sectors (including medical, research, governmental, NGO, community)  to bring ideas together, share resources and strengths to build synergy to create innovative solutions to address HIV in overseas-born gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men (Ob-GBMSM).

our history

The EHN was founded in 2021 by Associate Professor Doctor Jason Ong and is funded by the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council.

our meetings

The EHN holds regularly meetings once every three months, alternating between in-person and online. Guest speakers are invited to present at the meetings on the latest issues and updates in research, policies and practice regarding HIV and care in Australia.

our goal

The EHN hopes to contribute towards achieving health equity in sexual health, particularly among Ob-GBMSM communities, as well as towards the elimination of the epidemic of HIV in Australia.
